1. Air termination detection

The lightning arrester is an important lightning protection equipment, which keeps the lightning rod, strip, net, wire and metal. Therefore, the lightning arrester will be detected when conducting lightning protection detection on buildings. Generally, the rolling ball method is used to calculate the protection range of the lightning rod and lightning wire, the grid method is used to determine the protection range of the lightning strip and net, and its grid size and laying method, and whether the connection between the lightning strip and the downlead is closed.

2. Grounding resistance detection

The grounding resistance can effectively lead lightning into the ground, avoid electrification of buildings and damage to equipment and human body, understand the layout of grounding devices, check the materials and specifications of grounding devices, and then judge the service life of grounding devices according to these test data. If the grounding device has been used for a long time or the corrosion resistance of the selected material is poor, the grounding device will be selectively excavated for a section during the lightning protection test, and more reasonable treatment measures will be taken depending on the corrosion degree of the material.

3. Detection of lightning protection product working state

In the process of lightning protection detection, the working state of lightning protection products will also be checked, mainly to detect the lightning protection module of power supply, lightning protection box, lightning protection socket, etc. In addition, the connecting wire and grounding wire of lightning protection device will be checked to see the overall working condition of lightning protection device.
